Here at Riscombe House we are a family passionate about everything we do. Each of us has our own particular interest and expertise, from a particular dog breed to our DIY Livery.

At Riscombe House all of our animals are kept to the highest animal welfare standards with no expense spared when it comes to their health. However, we understand the value in giving our animals what they need and nothing more. This ensures that the animals we produce stay healthy as a species through the laws of nature. 

We understand the value of native and heritage breeds that evolved long ago and have withstood the test of time in the UKs harsh environment. This proud heritage makes the breeds more sustainable, both for the land they are kept on, and for your finances, costing less to keep than most other breeds. All the breeds we keep, with the exception of the Miniature Dachshund, are rare.
